Who we are

Help me park was established in September 2005 by Barry Babister and Sean McCarthy. Having worked together building a successful garage services company we identified a gap in the market for a company to provide a higher level of punctuality, integrity and value delivering meet and greet at Gatwick.

Our amazing drivers, dispatchers and car parkers are mature, uniformed, carry ID cards and are fully trained and insured.

Secure Parking

Our car parks either have a 24/7 security presence or CCTV and 24/7 monitoring. Help-me-park is a full member of the Gatwick Airport Approved Operator Scheme and as such retains the Park Mark ® accreditation on all car parks.

When you park with Help-me-park you know your car will be parked securely. Unless the ParkMark logo (see the footer at the bottom of this page) is displayed on the website of a meet and greet parking operator you cannot know for sure that your car will be parked in a secured car park.

A little bit about our history in the world of meet and greet parking at Gatwick

2005 – Help me park incorporated and the construction of our first website is completed

2007 – Our new and improved website launched to be able to handle the increase in bookings

2008 – After much hard work we were able to purchase our own car park at Leylands.

2009 – Safer Parking Scheme’s Park Mark® Award achieved

2010 - Park Mark® Award retained

2011 – Sustained growth meant we could lease a new car park at City Place.

2012 - Safer Parking Scheme’s Park Mark® Award achieved on City Place car park

2013 - Buy with Confidence accreditation achieved in July along with acceptance onto the newly established Gatwick Airport Approved Meet and Greet Operator Scheme

2015 – Help-me-park.com Ltd purchased by Park First Ltd. An additional 300 car parking spaces purchased by Park First with the ParkMark Award.

2016 – An additional 950 spaces purchased by Park First for redevelopment to a secure ParkMark awarded car park.

2017 – Sean McCarthy becomes Operations Director for Airport Parking Rentals (Gatwick) Ltd which takes over the operations of Help-me-park and Cophall Parking.
