Gatwick Express services cancelled for Christmas
The Gatwick Express train service between London Victoria and Gatwick Airport will be closed for essential repairs from Wednesday 25 December to Wednesday 1 January.
This engineering work, which includes work on the new Gatwick Station platform, the replacement of a major rail junction to the north of Gatwick and the upgrading of signalling at London Victoria, will mean train services to and from Gatwick will be busier than ever.
Faced with fewer trains and an increase in passenger numbers during this busy holiday period, many holidaymakers flying from Gatwick will probably consider driving instead of using the trains.
If you were planning on travellling to Gatwick on the Gatwick Express during the Christmas holiday season why not consider driving and letting Help Me Park park your car for you with our Gatwick-approved meet and greet parking service?
Arguably the best way to park your car at Gatwick, meet and greet Gatwick parking is quick, easy and safe. It’s also super convenient when you’re travelling with heavy luggage and ski equipment.
Here's how it works:
Simply drive to the terminal you are departing from – North or South – and meet your dedicated, fully insured driver who will be waiting for you. You make your way to check-in while your car is parked for you in our ParkMark secure car park.
On your return, simply call your driver when you have collected your luggage from the baggage carousel, make your way out of the terminal where you will see your driver with your car.
Yes, it really is that simple, and that easy!
Don’t forget, Help Me Park is:
• A Gatwick Approved Operator (just a handful of operators have met the strict criteria required for this status)
• Help Me Park offers a unique-to-Gatwick ‘no waiting, money back guarantee’
• All our car parks hold the ParkMark Safer Parking award
• We are Trading Standards Buy with Confidence approved.
Gatwick meet and greet airport parking saves so much time compared to off-airport parking - there is no need to add extra time to your journey to find an off-site car park, check-in your car and wait for the next courtesy bus back to the airport – a journey that will take about 10 - 15 minutes. No, you drive straight up to the dedicated meet and greet drop off and pick up forecourt, for use only by Gatwick Approved Operators - right outside the airport terminal.
