Easter Fun at Gatwick

If you’re flying with children from Gatwick this Easter you’ll be pleased to know that the airport has arranged some seasonal fun to help entertain the kids before your fight.

On 11th April, in both terminals, the airport will be hosting fun and games, arts and crafts and even an appearance by the Easter Bunny to amuse little ones. They’ll also be competitions to win some fabulous prizes.

The two-week Easter School holidays see many families taking their first break of the year, and as Easter is a bit later this year, short haul destinations across Europe are beginning to see a rise in temperatures

If you’ve not yet booked your Easter travel and want some advice on where’s warm and accessible from Gatwick, why not consider the following:

The Canaries - April will see temperatures of around 20ºC.

Cyprus – you’ll be enjoying temperatures of the mid 20ºC.

Crete – the South of the island is warmer than the North with temperatures of around 18-20ºC in Spring.

Egypt – sometimes too hot in peak season, but very palatable in April when temperatures are in the high 20ºC.

Malta – getting up to 19ºC, this island is a great getaway for some early sunshine.

Morocco – boasting temperatures in the mid 20ºC, the country offers a break that’s a little different from the typical ‘Spanish’ break.

If you are flying from Gatwick this Easter, don’t forget to book your meet and greet parking – just like the Easter Chick, catching the worm, the earliest bookers secure the best prices!
