| Use our travel checklist to make sure you don't forget a thing before you leave! |
| |
2 weeks before you leave... |
| Make a list of items that you need to go out and buy for your trip. It is a good idea to get these items in this week. |

| |
|
| Book your meet and greet valet parking. Arrive at Gatwick Airport and have us park your car for you, and then we'll have it waiting outside the terminal on your return. |
|
| |
|
| Find a kennel for your pet - it's amazing how quickly they get booked up! Or you could always ask a trusted friend or relative to feed your pet whilst you are away. |
|
| |
|
1 week before you leave... |
|
| Check that all your important bills are paid before you leave so you don't have the hassle of paying them while you are away. |
|
| |
|
| make sure you have enough disposable contact lenses for the duration of your holiday and any other medication that you may not be able to get hold of while you are there. |
|
| |
|
| For the ladies - 1 week before you leave is a good time to get your bikini / leg / eyebrow wax and a manicure / pedicure. |
|
| |
|
| For the guys - get a haircut! |
|
| |
|
1 day before you leave... |
|
| Charge your batteries and items like your mobile phone, electrical toothbrush, MP3 player, digital camera. |
|
| |
|
| Make your luggage identifiable. A lot of people have similar looking luggage so it's a good idea to make yours identifiable by adding coloured ribbon or tape - or you could just write your name really big across all of it! |
|
| |
|
| Confirm your flights. Call your flight operator to make sure flights are all on time and check there are no delays. |
|
| |
|
The night before you leave... |
|
| Pack your bags! Check you have thought of everything using our packing checklist found further down on this page. |
|
| |
|
| Set your alarm clock if you are travelling early. if your flight is early you need to bear in mind that you have to be at the airport at least 2 hours before your flight (check with your airline). Set your alarm so that you can do your last minute checks at home and be at the airport in plenty of time. |
|
| |
|
| Dispose of any fresh food in your fridge and cupboards. Don't be welcomed home by the smell of rotting food! |
|
| |
|
| Change all of your bins |
|
| |
|
| Put fuel in your car for your journey so that you don't have to even think about it on the day you leave. |
|
| |
|
| Set up your TV to record any programs you don't want to miss while you are gone. |
|
| |
|
| Water your plants or they will die! |
|
| |
|
| Get your most comfortable travelling clothes ready so you are not in a flap about what to wear on the day you have to leave. |
