Families should make sure that they are fully prepared with all essentials they will need during the flight and disembarking at the other end, before boarding the plane. Please note that security restrictions do apply to all liquids so try to limit any liquids brought along with you. You will be able to purchase liquids airside once you have cleared Gatwick security control.

Soft play areas are available after security on the lower levels of the International departure lounges in both the North and South Terminals at Gatwick Airport.
The play areas have Baby landings soft play and Fingerbox play tables (interactive and educational games consoles).
The areas are unsupervised and so parents and guardians are responsible for their children whilst in the play area.
Before security, an unsupervised children’s soft play area is also available in the Gatwick Village shopping area on the 1st floor of the South Terminal.
The Gatwick Airport play areas are suitable for children between age two and six years old.
Arcade games including ice hockey, table football and computer games are also available in both the South and North Terminals of London Gatwick Airport.Gatwick also has great views of the runway and planes from both the North and South Terminals, which is an educational and exciting way to keep your children amused whilst waiting to fly.
